Nautical Niceties

One style that I really embrace and feel never will fade is Nautical. How can you create the great nautical looks of J Crew and Free People? Accessories for Your Furry Baby

Contrary to what Paris Hilton may do, dogs are not accessories. I once yelled at a woman on Craigslist who posted looking for a small dog to ride in her purse. Have you ever met a Chihuahua? I have two. Let me tell you just how much work they are. And while they live to be by my side, I couldn't handle having them there 24/7.

Two for One

This is a fantastic idea for headbands. I have seen other sellers claim to have reversible styles, but they look like they are held together with Velcro. This designer has a flexible headband (not elastic...I don't do elastic) which can be twisted around to allow the wearer to use both fabrics. She offers simple, modern fabrics in great colors. Five minutes on tiffany.com is all I need to rack up my wishlist. Elsa Peretti, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.....Starfish necklace, Bean necklace, Color By the Yard necklace.....oh.....I feel every woman should own at least one piece from Tiffany. They really are a treasure.

A Purse Ahead of the Rest

One of the attributes I really look for in my accessories is originality. I want to own something no one else will be wearing. I love to go somewhere and ladies stop me to ask where it is I purchased something. 

When I noticed Vanessa Boulton's designs in our local SCAD store (you can visit them on shopscadonline.com) I knew I would be going home with one. From the cute little bird on her logo, to the wonderfully colorful fabrics she puts on the inside she is one of the most unique designers to date.

A Headband I Can't Live Without
